RASC News Agency: Narcotic drugs claimed the life of a Taliban fighter named Mujtaba Hamza in Badakhshan province, while two other fighters of this group were also poisoned. Sources at the provincial hospital in Badakhshan informed the media on Saturday, Feb 10, that these Taliban fighters were poisoned during a gathering at their base in the village of Rababi, Shahrbuzurg district of Badakhshan.

According to information obtained from sources at the provincial hospital in Badakhshan, these Taliban members were tasked with maintaining and guarding the children’s camp of Faction 219 under the command of Omar Salith. Meanwhile, although the Taliban group has not commented on this matter, sources say the health condition of two other fighters of this group is critical, and they are under special care.

It is noteworthy that this news comes as the Taliban group has repeatedly reported the arrest of individuals on charges of using and smuggling narcotic drugs, something that is not adhered to by members of this group.
