RASC News Agency: An additional 69 homes have been handed over by a foundation in the Zinda Jan district of Herat province to families affected by the earthquake. Mawlawi Ahmadullah Muttaqi, the head of information and culture and spokesperson for the commission addressing Herat earthquake victims, communicated this progress to the media on Thursday, Feb 8.

Mr. Muttaqi stated that the Qamar Foundation constructed these houses in the villages of Sarboland and Naib Rafi, and they have been distributed to earthquake victims in the area. Furthermore, Mr. Muttaqi added that the construction cost of these houses, totaling 48 million Kabuli rupees, has been borne by the foundation.

This occurs as relief organizations have previously delivered hundreds of homes to earthquake victims in Herat province. It is noteworthy that despite months passing since the earthquakes in Herat, there are still families without shelter.
