RASC News Agency: Continuing the surge in criminal activities, local sources from Nangarhar province report that the body of a man from the Kamah district of this province has been discovered in the river. Sources informed the media on Thursday, Feb 8, stating that the body of this man, identified as Nasibullah, was found yesterday in the Tari area of the Kamah district.

Meanwhile, Abdul Basir Zabuli, the spokesperson for the Taliban police command, also confirmed the news, stating that Nasibullah’s body was found in the Kunar River. According to this Taliban official, the body of this man, who is a resident of the Khogyani district of Nangarhar, has been handed over to his family after being transferred to the hospital. Local Taliban authorities in Nangarhar province have stated that the exact circumstances and reasons for the murder of this man have not yet been determined.

This comes as after the Taliban’s takeover of the country, similar criminal incidents have increased in many provinces, including Nangarhar. Earlier, the body of a man was found in the Samkani district of Paktia province. Some sources suggest that while the Taliban have always claimed to strive for security provision, insecurity levels have escalated in several provinces after their takeover.
