RASC News Agency: The Ministry of Immigration of Canada has announced that recently more than 300 Afghanistani refugees have been transferred from Pakistan to Canada on a chartered flight. According to a message released by the ministry on Wednesday, Feb 7, on the X social media platform, 304 Afghanistani refugees were transported from Pakistan to Canada on a chartered flight.
As per the Ministry of Immigration of Canada, the newly transferred immigrants have been relocated to the city of Toronto and will be dispersed across 27 locations throughout Canada. The message from the Ministry of Immigration of Canada stated that the country has so far relocated 47,110 Afghanistani citizens. This comes as hundreds of Afghanistani citizens, following the resurgence of the Taliban, have migrated to neighboring countries, including Pakistan, to address their migration cases.
According to reports, most of these refugees are currently awaiting evacuation by host countries, including Canada, and Canada has intensified the process of transferring these refugees. Following the Taliban’s takeover of the country, due to existing threats from this group to civil activists and government affiliates, a significant number of citizens have migrated to neighboring countries to address their migration cases.
