RASC News Agency: A recent incident in Nangarhar province has contributed to the increasing number of mysterious and targeted murders taking place across various provinces in the country. Unidentified armed assailants targeted a residence in Miranoi village, situated in the Kama district, resulting in the death of a man and severe injury to a woman. The household, originally from Kunar province, had relocated to Nangarhar province, only to be gunned down by unknown assailants on the night of January 13th.

Sources indicate that the motive behind this attack is believed to be rooted in personal enmity. Local officials affiliated with the Taliban group have confirmed the incident and launched an investigation into the matter. This event underscores the concerning trend of targeted killings that have been on the rise during the two-year tenure of the Taliban in Afghanistan. The escalating number of these incidents understandably sparks significant concern among the citizens of the country.

The surge in mysterious and targeted murders occurring in different provinces of Afghanistan has reached unprecedented levels during the rule of the Taliban. This disconcerting trend deeply troubles the nation’s population. The recent attack in Nangarhar province, where a man lost his life and a woman sustained severe injuries, serves as a stark reminder of the pervasive insecurity and violence afflicting the country. As investigations into this incident progress, it is imperative for authorities to address the underlying causes and implement necessary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of the Afghanistani people.
