RASC News Agency: The Afghanistan Freedom Front has responded to the recent car explosion in the western part of Kabul, claimed by ISIS. They assert that this attack is linked to the deadly incident in Kerman, Iran, emphasizing that groups, including ISIS, cannot execute such attacks against the Shia and Hazara communities without the support of the Taliban. The Freedom Front made this statement on Saturday night, January 6th, via the X social media platform.

Reports indicate incidents of harassment and arrests of women by the Taliban in western Kabul, particularly in the Hazara area. Women and girls are targeted for not adhering to the Taliban’s strict dress code and hijab requirements. The Freedom Front condemns these actions, suggesting a connection between the recent attacks against the Shia and Hazara communities in Afghanistan and the attack in Kerman, Iran. They argue that both incidents were planned and organized under the Taliban regime.

The Freedom Front expresses concern about the rise in targeted attacks in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran, indicating that Afghanistan, under Taliban rule, has become a safe haven for transnational terrorist groups. Meanwhile, the car explosion in the Qala-e-Nazir area of Kabul resulted in at least two deaths and 14 injuries, according to the Taliban. Shortly after the blast, the Khorasan branch of ISIS claimed responsibility, reporting that 20 individuals were killed.
