RASC News Agency: Reports from Kabul indicate that the Taliban group has once again conducted arbitrary arrests, with sources confirming the detention of an individual in the province. The media has been informed that this young man was apprehended by the Taliban on Monday, January 1st, in the Kota-e-Sangi area of Kabul and subsequently taken to an undisclosed location.

According to information provided by sources, the detained individual is identified as Hussain and hails from the Dara district of Panjshir province. The Taliban group reportedly took him into custody four days ago. His relatives, claiming no knowledge of his whereabouts or the Taliban’s intentions regarding his fate, have raised concerns.

It is noteworthy that the Taliban group has a history of arresting, torturing, imprisoning, and even killing young individuals from Panjshir in Kabul. This latest arrest adds to the growing list of Panjshiri youths subjected to such treatment at the hands of the Taliban. The group often accuses them of joining the National Resistance Front, using this as a pretext for their actions.

Over the last couple of years, the Taliban has imposed a myriad of restrictions on individuals’ lives. This extremist group has engaged in arbitrary arrests, torture, imprisonment, and even killings without any accountability to a governing body. Adding to the already oppressive restrictions imposed on citizens, the Taliban has now initiated the targeting of young girls in various provinces of the country without any justifiable cause.

As a consequence of these repressive policies and blatant human rights violations, several opposition factions have emerged within the country, actively combating against the Taliban. These groups are determined to challenge the oppressive regime and restore the fundamental rights and freedoms that have been trampled upon by the Taliban.
