RASC News Agency: The National Resistance Front has declared that its forces, engaged in an ongoing offensive against Taliban positions and members, recently targeted a vehicle transporting Taliban members in the province of Baghlan. In a press release issued on Wednesday, January 3rd, by the National Resistance Front, it was clarified that the forces of this front, around 7:30 pm the previous night, detonated a “Hilux” type vehicle carrying Taliban members near the “PRT” in the city of Pul-e Khumri, the capital of Baghlan province. According to this press release by the National Resistance Front, the aftermath of this attack resulted in the death of two Taliban members, one sustaining injuries, and the complete destruction of the vehicle transporting them.

This development unfolds amidst opposition fronts, including the National Resistance Front, the Freedom Front, and other anti-Taliban groups, which have previously revealed engagements in covert operations and offensives against the positions and members of the Taliban. In the most recent operation, the National Resistance Front declared that, following their assault on a Taliban vehicle in Kunduz province, one member of their group was killed, and two others sustained injuries.

It is noteworthy that earlier, the Taliban group, in response to these attacks, asserted that the activities of these groups are primarily confined to social media. However, sporadic military operations by some of these groups, including the Freedom Front, have underscored that these entities have both supporters and combatants in specific regions of Afghanistan.
