RASC News Agency: The Taliban’s security command in Kunduz province persists in vengeful actions against former government soldiers and individuals associated with the National Resistance Front. Sources indicate that the Taliban has consulted with district elders and property dealers to prevent these individuals from finding shelter or homes. During a meeting on December 31st with property dealers and local elders, Mawlawi Rahimullah Zulfiqar, the head of the Taliban’s security command in Kunduz province, underscored the prohibition of renting or selling property without the approval of the Taliban and relevant property dealers.

Despite the Taliban leader’s announcement of a general amnesty, the group remains resolute in suppressing and targeting soldiers of the previous government, leading to numerous casualties.

The oppressive and violent behavior of the Taliban extends beyond targeting the military of the previous government, reaching the residents of Panjshir province who face severe mistreatment based on various pretexts, including their affiliation with the National Resistance Front. Despite claims of amnesty, the actions of the Taliban reveal ongoing hostility toward those opposing their rule.

Zulfiqar reaffirmed the group’s commitment to combat individuals associated with the National Resistance Front and ISIS, urging the public to provide information about former government soldiers and introduce them to the Taliban. This situation underscores the persistent challenges faced by those opposing the Taliban’s regime and emphasizes the need for increased protection and support for these individuals and communities.
