RASC News Agency: Reports indicate that Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa, the Acting Minister of Information and Culture for the Taliban group, recently participated in discussions with Markus Potzel, the Deputy Director of the UNAMA office in Kabul. The meeting encompassed a broad spectrum of topics, ranging from the current situation in Afghanistan to the treatment of drug addicts, projects supporting farmers, humanitarian aid efforts, the significance of cooperation, and various other matters of mutual concern.

During this meeting, Mr. Potzel conveyed UNAMA’s commitment to collaborate with Afghanistan under the Taliban’s governance across multiple sectors. This affirmation from the UNAMA representative underscores the potential for cooperation and support in diverse fields as the country navigates its new circumstances.

Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa, the Acting Minister of Information and Culture for the Taliban, underscored that national security has been established, and the group is devoted to facilitating reconstruction and development within the country. Despite this optimistic perspective, it’s noteworthy that Markus Potzel had previously engaged in discussions with Suhail Shaheen, the head of the Taliban’s political office in Qatar, regarding Afghanistan’s situation under the group’s control.

These discussions mirror the ongoing endeavors to address the challenges confronting the country, particularly in areas such as the political system, education, and the rights of Afghanistani girls. Moreover, neighboring countries and the region have voiced concerns about the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan and the potential for the country to become a safe haven for such organizations. These concerns were also raised by the Chief of Staff of the Pakistan Army during a meeting with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres.
