RASC News Agency: In the ongoing series of enigmatic and deliberate killings carried out by unidentified assailants across various provinces of the country, sources from Takhar province have recently reported the beheading of a man by unidentified individuals. Sources informed the media on Friday, December 9th, that an unidentified group beheaded a man in his home last night in the Mirzabacha Sayab village of the Bangi district in this province. According to sources, the man was identified as Abdul Wakil. Simultaneously, one source conveyed to the media that he was a member of the Taliban; however, local residents asserted that he worked as a shopkeeper and was an ordinary person.

Meanwhile, the Taliban group has refrained from expressing any opinion regarding the beheading of this man in Takhar province. This incident unfolds against the backdrop of a significant surge in criminal activities, particularly mysterious and targeted killings, across various provinces of the country. Information indicates that the perpetrators behind these incidents have not been pursued by any entity. However, it is noteworthy that despite the Taliban authorities’ repeated claims that the rate of criminal activities, including mysterious killings, armed robberies, and abductions, has decreased in the country after the group’s control over Afghanistan, daily reports consistently present contrary statistics.

Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that in some provinces, residents have accused Taliban members of involvement in these killings, presenting them as mysterious and targeted, with these individuals remaining unaccountable to any authority.
