RASC News Agency: The Freedom Front, in its continued campaign against the Taliban group, has recently reported that its covert operation resulted in the deaths of four Taliban members during an attack in Panjshir province. According to a newsletter released by the Freedom Front on Thursday, December 7th, the target of their operation was the office of the Taliban group’s governor in Panjshir province. The attack claimed the lives of at least four individuals, including two of the governor’s bodyguards, but the fate of the governor and the number of injured remain unknown.
Despite the increased number of covert operations carried out by opposing forces such as the National Resistance Front and the Afghanistan Freedom Front, the Taliban group has managed to strengthen its positions and forces in various provinces. Both the Afghanistan Freedom Front and the National Resistance Front have reported attacks and casualties inflicted upon the Taliban group in different parts of the country. Earlier, the National Resistance Front announced the killing of a Taliban commander in Takhar province.
It is worth mentioning that the leaders of the opposition fronts, including Ahmad Massoud from the National Resistance Front and Yasin Zia from the Afghanistan Freedom Front, had previously declared their intentions to intensify covert operations against the Taliban group’s forces and bases. The ongoing clashes between these opposing factions highlight the escalating tensions within the country.
