RASC News Agency: Recently, the Afghanistan Freedom Front’s forces announced that, at 1:30 AM on Friday night, December 1st, they initiated an assault on the Taliban stronghold in the Khom-Zargar region, the Hese Awal of the Kohistan terrain in Kapisa province. After a forty-minute engagement, four Taliban members were reported killed, and two others were wounded. According to the Afghanistan Freedom Front, in this operation, their forces acquired three firearms, including a PK machine gun, and destroyed a Taliban Ranger vehicle.

The Afghanistan Freedom Front additionally reported that the Taliban’s reinforcement to this base encountered an ambush by their forces along the route, although precise details of the losses are not available. It is noted that in both operations, the forces of the Afghanistan Freedom Front suffered no casualties. This development coincides with a notable increase in attacks by the Afghanistan Freedom Front against the Taliban in various provinces of the country. Reports also indicate casualties inflicted on Taliban members by this front. It is noteworthy that, alongside the Afghanistan Freedom Front, the National Resistance Front has intensified its covert operations against the Taliban in various provinces.

It should be mentioned that the leader of the Afghanistan Freedom Front had previously declared its commitment to continue operations against the Taliban until the liberation of Afghanistan from their control. This transpires as, according to information, since their takeover, the Taliban have engaged in highly repressive behaviors towards non-Pashtun Afghanistani citizens, particularly the residents of Panjshir province.
