RASC News Agency: Recent information reveals that the head of intelligence within the Taliban group has issued directives to establish a new administrative department within their organization. The purpose of this new administration is to exert control and conduct investigations on residents in non-Pashtun regions. According to the letter from the Taliban group’s intelligence, made available to the media on Monday, November 27th, one homeowner is required to vouch for another homeowner. As per the details provided, the Taliban group’s intelligence department dispatched a letter to all provincial intelligence offices, instructing the addition of a new department named the “Local Passport Department” to the existing intelligence structure.

The primary objective of this directive is to address security concerns in provinces and districts. In collaboration with municipal authorities, the newly established directorate is assigned the task of registering and documenting properties belonging to Tajik, Hazara, and Uzbek ethnic groups. It is crucial to note that this order, signed by Abdul Haq Wasiq, the intelligence chief of the Taliban group, aims to closely monitor and control the movements and settlements of non-Pashtun ethnic groups in areas predominantly inhabited by them. This order is just one among various restrictions imposed by the Taliban since assuming power in Afghanistan.

Furthermore, it’s noteworthy that the Taliban group has been issuing a range of orders to restrict the lives of Afghanistani citizens since assuming power. This specific order adds to the existing restrictions and underscores the establishment of a commission to identify and register usurped lands across different provinces. Reports indicate that the commission has declared a significant portion of lands belonging to non-Pashtun tribes as usurped.
