RASC News Agency: Sources from Tehran province, the capital of Iran, have reported the tragic suicide of a 24-year-old Afghanistani boy residing in the province. The incident occurred on Sunday, November 26th, when the young man hanged himself in his sister’s house, putting an end to his life. In a note left to the Iranian police, he expressed that his decision was driven by the dire economic circumstances and scarcity he faced. This event is not an isolated incident, as previous cases of young Afghanistani citizens taking their own lives have been reported in neighboring countries such as Iran and Pakistan.

It is important to highlight that young Afghanistani citizens within the country have also resorted to suicide on various occasions due to factors like poverty, hardship, and domestic conflicts. Moreover, the challenging living conditions and lack of employment opportunities in Afghanistan have prompted thousands of young Afghanistani citizens to migrate to neighboring countries and regions. The recent rise in Taliban control has further exacerbated the migration rate, leading to an increased number of Afghanistani citizens seeking refuge in neighboring countries.

Furthermore, it has come to light that the neighboring countries and the region have implemented stricter policies against undocumented asylum seekers, particularly targeting Afghanistani immigrants. These policies have resulted in the forceful expulsion of these individuals from their host countries. This situation adds to the already difficult circumstances faced by Afghanistani citizens, leaving them with limited options and exacerbating their struggles.
