RASC News Agency: Amnesty International has launched an online campaign urging France to expedite the visa issuance process for Afghanistani girls and women seeking asylum. The organization has collected nearly 65,000 signatures and highlighted the severe restrictions imposed by the Taliban on the basic rights of Afghanistani women and girls. Amnesty International has called on France to provide practical support to these individuals.

The Taliban’s oppression of Afghanistani women and girls has been a major concern for Amnesty International. The organization has criticized the slow and fragmented handling of asylum cases for women activists and has called for a swifter visa issuance process. The situation of Afghanistani women activists in neighboring countries is also alarming, as they are at risk of being sent back to Afghanistan.

Amnesty International has urged French President Emmanuel Macron, the Ministry of Interior, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide shelter and support to Afghanistani women and girls who have become refugees in neighboring countries. The organization has also announced that it will discuss the situation of women and girls in Afghanistan as part of its 16-day campaign to eliminate gender-based violence.

Despite the Taliban’s takeover of the country, many Afghanistani women’s rights activists have fled to neighboring countries, fearing the Taliban’s rule and the threat of being forced to leave these countries. The oppressive restrictions imposed by the Taliban have forced women and girls to seek refuge in neighboring countries. It is the responsibility of international organizations and foreign countries to address these issues and provide support to those affected by the Taliban’s actions.
