RASC News Agency: After the forced expulsion of a significant number of Afghanistani asylum seekers from Pakistan, authorities are claiming that some of the deported migrants are actually Pakistani and are attempting to move to Afghanistan, particularly in the western part of the country. Razaq Mamoon, a political activist from Afghanistan, revealed to the RASC News Agency on Wednesday, November 15th, that General Jurat, a Jihadi leader with close ties to Pakistan, held a secret meeting with Amir Mohammad Ismail Khan in Mashhad, Iran. During this meeting, General Jurat expressed that if Ismail Khan cooperated and used his influence to relocate these people to the western area of Afghanistan, they would reap the benefits.
Mamoon further explained that the purpose of this meeting was to satisfy Ismail Khan and the Iranians, rather than prevent these refugees from moving into the western provinces of the country. However, reports have indicated that Ismail Khan, the former governor of Herat province and a prominent Jihadist leader, has opposed the transfer of these individuals to the western provinces of Afghanistan and has not shown any positive inclination towards it.
Meanwhile, Abdullah Jamshidi, a civil activist in Herat province, informed the RASC News Agency that Ismail Khan is currently in exile but has not lost his popularity among the people. Jamshidi added that Afghanistani leaders who live outside the country still hold influence over the people and have provided certain services. It is worth mentioning that Ismail Khan, who was an influential figure in the southwest region of Afghanistan, played a significant role in numerous political and economic decisions in the area.
Despite an earlier announcement by Mullah Hebatullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Taliban group, stating that the deported refugees would be relocated to 22 provinces in the north, west, and central regions of Afghanistan, the situation seems to have taken a different turn. According to reports, over 300,000 Afghanistani immigrants have been forcibly deported from Pakistan and sent back to their home country.
