RASC News Agency: In the midst of a wave of undisclosed killings across various provinces in the country, recent reports from local sources in Faryab province have uncovered the murder of a young girl in Garziwan district. The incident occurred on Wednesday, October 25, in the village of Qazaq. The victim, identified as Ziba Gul, an 18-year-old girl, was allegedly strangled to death by her own brother using a handkerchief. The brother has managed to escape the scene, evading capture.

This incident further adds to the alarming number of undisclosed murders plaguing the country, particularly in Faryab province, which has seen an unprecedented surge in such acts. Just two weeks prior, in the city of Maimana, the capital of Faryab, a 16-year-old boy murdered his own father with an ax. These incidents underscore the urgent necessity for a comprehensive legal framework to address criminal offenses within the Taliban’s legal system. Experts argue that the absence of such measures has contributed to the escalation of these mysterious killings in the country.

The proliferation of undisclosed murders poses a significant challenge to law enforcement agencies and the overall security situation in Afghanistan. It is imperative for authorities to promptly and effectively tackle this issue, ensuring that justice is served and that the perpetrators are held accountable for their despicable acts. The implementation of a clear legal framework, specifically targeting criminal offenses within the Taliban’s jurisdiction, is essential to curbing this disturbing upward trend of undisclosed murders and restoring peace and stability in the nation.
