RASC News Agency: In continuation of the ongoing incidents of domestic violence in various provinces of the country, the security command of the Taliban group in Faryab recently reported the killing of a man in the city of Maimana, the capital of this province, by his own son.
Officials have stated that this man was fatally beaten by his 16-year-old son with a stick.
The security command of the Taliban group in Faryab confirmed this incident in a released statement, noting that it occurred on Saturday evening, October 21st, in the Tatar Khanah neighborhood of Maimana.
Furthermore, the security command of the Taliban group in Faryab added that their forces are currently pursuing the son responsible for the crime.
However, in the latest case, unidentified individuals targeted a girl and her mother in this province, resulting in the girl’s death and injuries to the mother.
It is worth mentioning that approximately two months ago, a boy in the Almar district of this province killed his father due to family challenges.
It should be noted that the Taliban group has consistently remained silent in the face of these hidden and concealed killings and has made no efforts to apprehend the perpetrators of these crimes.
Experts say that the absence of a clear legal framework for addressing crimes within the Taliban’s judicial system, coupled with the growing economic challenges, has led to an increase in crime and lawlessness in the country.
