RASC News Agency: Despite the Taliban group’s constant claim that Afghanistan has been 99% cleared of terrorist groups, the British Foreign Ministry stated in its latest statement that the possibility of terrorist attacks in Afghanistan still exists.
Furthermore, in its statement released on Friday, October 20th, the ministry stated that the security situation in Afghanistan remains concerning and urged its citizens not to travel to the country.
Notably, during their two-year rule, the Taliban have consistently detained British citizens. This raises additional worries about the safety and well-being of individuals from countries outside of Afghanistan who may find themselves in the country.
London has made it clear that it does not have any diplomatic presence in Afghanistan, and at present, there are no plans to officially recognize the Taliban as the legitimate governing authority. This stance suggests a cautious approach, likely in response to the volatile security situation and concerns about human rights violations.
The recent suicide attack on a Shia mosque in Pul-e Khumri highlights the deteriorating security situation within Afghanistan. This attack resulted in the loss of numerous lives and caused significant injuries. It is important to note that such incidents have been a recurring pattern during the Taliban’s rule, with attacks primarily attributed to the ISIS group.
It should be noted that during the Taliban group’s two-year rule in Afghanistan, the people have been repeatedly subjected to suicide attacks in various provinces of the country, with the majority of these attacks being claimed by the ISIS group, similar to the attack on the Shia mosque in Pul-e Khumri.
