RASC News Agency: The Department of Rural Development and Rehabilitation of the Taliban group in Faryab Province has announced that the World Food Program has distributed food aid to 9,539 needy families in this province.
According to the Department of Rural Rehabilitation and Development of the Taliban group in Faryab province, these aids have been distributed to the residents of Khan Chaharbagh, Qarmaqul, Dawlatabad, Garziwan and Almar districts.
According to the newsletter of the Department of Rural Development and Rehabilitation of the Taliban group in Faryab province, the World Food Program has distributed food including flour, oil, dal, salt and children’s nutrition to eight thousand and 736 families in need.
Based on the newsletter of this department, 803 other needy families have also received cash assistance.
However, according to the World Food Program, the decrease in humanitarian aid from this organization due to the budget deficit has the greatest impact on Afghanistani women, who are currently limited by the Taliban group.
It is important to note that the Taliban have placed a lot of restrictions and laws on women’s work and life since they took over Afghanistan.
World Food Program and number of other organizations recently announced they will leave Afghanistan due to the lack of the budget, but on the other hand, Millions of Afghanistani people whose income and foods are dependent to these organization worry about their future.
As per the Taliban rule and restrictions, women are not allowed to work and the rate of unemplyness are increased in the country which creates a big challange to the citizens.
