RASC News Agency: Local sources in Ghazni province report that the Taliban have issued a forced displacement order for dozens of families in the Nawah district of the province. According to these sources, the Taliban have unjustly allocated hundreds of acres of agricultural land and pastures belonging to the residents of the villages of Wagh, Sar Darya, and Barki to nomadic Kuchis. The sources reveal that this order followed a dispute involving the Kuchis and a ruling by the Taliban’s primary court in Nawur, with the directive being issued by the Taliban’s head of tribes and clans in Ghazni. The Taliban have warned the residents of these villages to vacate their lands immediately.
Residents argue that these lands have been inherited from their ancestors and are rightfully theirs. It’s worth noting that acts of retaliation against citizens and forced displacements by the Taliban have persisted across various regions over the past three years. In the most recent incident, the Taliban governor of Ghor, in collusion with the group’s Ministry of Tribes and Clans, has ordered the eviction of approximately 600 Tajik families from the Dolatyar district of the province.
According to the Taliban’s directive, the residents of the area south of the Harirod River must vacate the region without taking any of their belongings, agricultural products, or even the doors and windows of their homes.
