RASC News Agency: An official of the Taliban group told the media on condition of anonymity that the case of Matiullah Wisa, an activist in the field of education, who is in the prison of this group, has been sent to the court for a decision.
This official of the Taliban group did not provide more information regarding the submission of Mr. Wisa’s case.
The referral of Mr. Wisa’s case to the court was confirmed by his family, but they said that they have not received official information about it yet.
This is despite the fact that before this, the officials of the Taliban group had said that the forces of this group had arrested him because of “arbitrary activities and encouraging people to engage in anti-government activities”.
It should be noted that this education activist was arrested by the Taliban group nearly six months ago due to protest against the ban on girls’ education.
In the meantime, despite the repeated requests of human rights activists and international organizations for the release of Mr. Wisa, he is still in the custody of this group.
At the same time, the Taliban group has always limited the education area for girls and closed the gates of educational centers to girls in different parts of the country since they regained control of the country.
