RASC News Agency: The Minister of Higher Education of the Taliban group says that Afghanistani women and girls should not be in a hurry for the right to education. Scholars and professors should remain silent on this issue.

Neda Mohammad Nadim, the Minister of Higher Education of the Taliban group, who has always taken marginal positions, has said in the latest case that they do not accept the world’s demand for the right to education for girls and women.

According to him, the world wants Afghanistani women and girls to be like other women and girls in the world.

He emphasized: “We don’t accept the world’s demand, they want Afghanistan under the pretext of civilization and progress; Make our women and girls like the women and girls of the world.”

In another part of his speech, he asks religious scholars, professors and experts to keep silent about the right of women and girls to education and follow the Taliban group.

This senior member of the Taliban group also asks women and girls not to rush to secure their right to education.

Nadim said: “As a Muslim sister, it is our responsibility and obligation to provide her with her financial, academic and honor rights. The case that religion says we should give; But do not rush, it will be provided sooner.

Although the Taliban group has repeatedly attributed strict restrictions on women and girls, especially in the education sector, to Sharia; however, in the latest case, a delegation from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation clearly announced in a trip to Kabul that science education for men and women is fully permissible in Sharia law.
