RASC News Agency: Local sources in Kapisa province say that the Taliban group has arrested a former government soldier in this province.
Sources told the media on Thursday September 7, that this soldier’s name is Mohammad Akbar and he is a resident of Kapisa province.
According to the sources, the Taliban group arrested Akbar from his house in the center of this province around 9:00 last night.
According to the sources, the Taliban group arrested him three times before on the charge of cooperation with “Afghanistan National Resistance Front” and “Freedom Front” and this is the fourth time.
The sources add that this former military man is not related to any direction and did not go abroad after the Taliban group came to power.
He worked in Helmand province during the previous government.
Sources stated that Mohammad Akbar’s family has referred several times to the Security Command and the National Security Directorate of the Taliban group in Kapisa; but they claim to be unaware of his arrest.
Arresting, torturing and killing soldiers and employees of the previous government by the Taliban group is not a new thing.
Previously, human rights organizations were worried about the detention, torture and killing of the soldiers of the previous government by the Taliban group; But these claims have always been denied by the Taliban group.
Meanwhile, in its recent report, the Office of the United Nations Assistant for Afghanistan (UNAMA) recorded 800 cases of human rights violations by the Taliban group against the military and officials of the former government of Afghanistan. In addition, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights this UNAMA report in it considered the violation of human rights in Afghanistan as “shocking”, said that the Taliban group “betrayed” the trust of Afghan citizens, and continued to violate human rights.
