RASC News Agency: A number of female make up artists in Balkh province confirm that their homes are under surveillance by the Taliban group in order to prevent their activities.
According to these make up artists, Taliban forces entered their homes without permission and violated their privacy.
They added that even though their work force was collected by the Taliban group, the forces of this group still disturb the lives of these women.
One of these women said: “I had a guest a few days ago. We were eating bread when the Taliban group entered our house directly. “The Taliban shamelessly recorded the information of all my guests and warned that I have no right to make up another person.”
This is despite the fact that the Taliban group has imposed many restrictions on women’s social life since they took control of the country; this group banned the operation of all women’s beauty salons in Afghanistan in a decree after July 25.
It is said that this decision of the Taliban has led to the unemployment of nearly 60,000 women across the country.
This decision of the Taliban group has faced many reactions from the citizens and the world, and a number of women in Kabul and other provinces of the country protested against this order of the Taliban group.
Rina Amiri, the US special representative for Afghanistani women’s affairs, responded to this order by the Taliban group and said that this ban destroys one of the safe havens for women and girls outside the home.
