But farmers in this province complain about the lack of agricultural cold storage and selling market, which has made them face many problems and financial losses.
The sellers of fruits and vegetables also accept the complaints of the farmers and they also said that these problems have become a problem for them and have slowed down their sales.
One of them told RASC, during the off-season, vegetables and fruits are imported from neighboring countries and sold at high prices that people cannot afford.
This is the complaint of the farmers of Helmand while the government has not been able to create an agricultural cold storage for the storage of fresh fruits and vegetables in this province for years.
Helmand is one of the warm provinces where 80 percent of the people in this province are farmers and artisans.
It is mentionable that this is not the first time that farmers complain about the lack of cold storage and the official’s inattention in this province, but the farmers in all provinces of the country every year complain from the central government and local official’s inattention.
