Detention of Two Panjshiri People in Kabul by Taliban Group

RASC: Sources in Kabul tell RASC that the Taliban group has arrested two civilians, the main residents of Dara district in Panjshir province, from Kabul city.

According to the sources, Shams Rahman Raheeq and his cousin Atta Rahman were arrested by the Taliban group three days ago from the crossing area of ​​Kabul city.

According to the sources, Shams Rahman was a human rights activist and Atta Rahman was a shopkeeper.

According to sources, these two people were not related to any organization or group opposed to the Taliban group.

The reason for the arrest of these two residents of Panjshir province has not been determined yet.

Sources say that there is no information about their fate and the Taliban group has not told their families.

In the past one and a half years that the Taliban have dominated Afghanistan, they have arrested and imprisoned dozens of young civilians and former soldiers from the northern provinces of Afghanistan, who are Tajiks, under various pretexts.
