Registration of 50 Cases of Dog Bites in Health Centers in the Last Week in Zabul Province

RASC: The Public Health Department under the control of the Taliban group in Zabul province reports an increase in dog bite cases in this province.

The officials of this department said on Saturday, May 13 that in the last week, more than 50 people, including children, have visited the health centers of this province due to being bitten by a mad dog.

Among the people suffering from mad dog disease, there are 7 children, 2 of them are reported to be in critical condition.

However, health officials in Zabul province say that the application of the mad dog vaccine to the patients has started and they are under treatment.

Meanwhile, the increase of mad dogs and the lack of a plan to solve this problem in Zabul province worried the residents of this province. Dozens of people in Kandahar province been infected with this disease before.
