Deprivation from education and turning to business
In these days, numbers of girls who deprived from education started new businesses. These students declared that after schools and universities banned in Afghanistan they had to find a solution to provide their own and their family incomes. Kobra is law and political science faculty student of a private university in Kabul province, which she has opened a cosmetics and clothes shop.
Kobra added, “We are working here and it does not mean this job can be an alternative to our education. For development of our future and development of our country, we should learn knowledge and acquire education. We should proceed our education to become an expert in the future.
Kobra female customers are happy, and they declares which dealing with females are comfortable to them.
Atifa, from Kabul province said:” We are happy which girls are working in this tough situation, now we can buy women needs and necessities easily”.
Madina the other girl from Kabul province added, “Schools and universities gates are closed to girls, on the other side when we see girls are selling our needs and materials which made us happy.
In the meanwhile, many girls’ students’ demands and wants are the re- opening of universities and schools doors to girls urgently.
Ruqia Danishjo said, “self-business is a good option for her, I can be a good supporter for myself, but I cannot develop my personality here, this is the case I want to go university.
In the meantime, Amir Khan Muttaqi minister of foreign Affairs of Taliban said in the institute of strategic studies of Pakistan, “women education and learning is not forbidden and this girl’s deprivation from education is not permanent”.
In addition, Amir Khan Muttaqi said, “I have never told that, Girls education is forbidden and I have never told that women deprivation from education is permanent, but we are waiting for the second order”.
Nearly, 140 days passed from closure of universities doors to Afghan girls but still universities gates are close to girls, until now there is not any update regarding this issue.
