RASC: The World Food Program has helped 1,694 needy families in this province.

The Rural Development Department of the Taliban group for Farah province said on Friday, May 5, that the aid was distributed by the Martyrs Organization to the needy in Pashroud city of this province.

The donated food items included 50 kilograms of flour, 5 liters of oil, 6 kilograms of chickpeas, salt and nutrients for children.

World Food Program’s assistance to needy families in Farah province is not unprecedented. About 20 days ago, this organization helped hundreds of needy families in this province with food.

Meanwhile, the continuation of humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan has been said to be vital in the current situation.

Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, said last week at the Doha meeting that Afghanistan is currently dealing with the biggest humanitarian crisis in the world.
