RASC News Agency: Munir Akram, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, has announced that Islamabad is preparing to submit a resolution at the UN, accusing India and the Taliban of direct involvement in terrorist activities. In an interview with the Kashmir Media Service, Akram asserted that the resolution aims to hold India accountable for its alleged role in exporting terrorism from Afghanistani territory. He further emphasized that Pakistan’s next course of action will be to expose India’s complicity in fostering terrorism on international platforms. According to Akram, Islamabad is intensifying its diplomatic efforts to highlight India’s activities on the global stage, ensuring that the international community is fully cognizant of New Delhi’s actions.
Despite repeated efforts by India’s allies to shield it from international sanctions, Akram stressed the need for persistent diplomatic engagement to hold India accountable. Pakistani officials have also confirmed that Islamabad has formally lodged a complaint at the United Nations, citing India and the Taliban’s alleged support for terrorist networks operating against Pakistan. The complaint specifically accuses India and the Taliban of facilitating cross-border terrorism originating from Afghanistani soil. These developments come in the wake of a high-profile security incident on Tuesday, when the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) hijacked a train carrying over 400 passengers in Balochistan. The Pakistani military reported on Wednesday that a subsequent hostage rescue operation resulted in the deaths of 33 insurgents. The clashes also claimed the lives of four Pakistani security personnel and more than 50 civilians.
Pakistan has alleged that the attackers maintained direct communication with their handlers in Afghanistan, an accusation the Taliban has categorically denied. Furthermore, the Pakistani military has claimed that the weaponry used in the attack was of Indian and Afghanistani origin, further escalating regional tensions.
