RASC News Agency: The Indian newspaper, Sunday Guardian, reports that newly recruited ISIS members, particularly those from Central Asia, are undergoing military training in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan. According to a report published on Sunday, August 4, the group has shifted its focus from Afghanistan to larger international targets. Additionally, ISIS is concentrating on recruiting citizens of Central Asia, particularly Tajiks and Uzbeks.

The Sunday Guardian stated that ISIS is establishing multiple networks in various regions to facilitate its operations. These networks are responsible for recruiting and training foreign fighters from Central Asia, the Middle East, and other areas. The media outlet added, “The expansion of ISIS-Khorasan’s operations is not limited to direct attacks. The group is also attempting to increase its presence in India, aiming to escalate violence between Hindus and Muslims by recruiting solely through local financial aid.”

The report also noted that ISIS increasingly utilizes digital currencies and online payment structures. The recent findings regarding ISIS’s activities have raised concerns among global security organizations. This development comes amid repeated international concerns about the presence and activities of terrorist groups in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan, which the Taliban consistently dismiss as unfounded.
