RASC News Agency: Local sources from Baghlan province report that a traffic accident in Khost district has resulted in the deaths of four individuals. According to sources, the accident occurred on Tuesday morning, June 25, in the Sachi Pass area of Khost district, Baghlan province. The victims have been identified as Farid, Emad-ul-Haq, and Emad-ul-Haq’s parents. Additionally, six others, including women and children, were injured in the incident.

Sources indicate that the condition of several of the injured, who were hurt when the vehicle overturned, is critical. The vehicle involved in the accident was traveling from Khost district’s Takap Bazaar towards Kabul. Sources attribute the accident to the treacherous roads in the area. Previous traffic accidents in various provinces have similarly resulted in fatalities, injuries, and disabilities, often due to poor road conditions and driver negligence.

Moreover, according to statistics provided by the Taliban, traffic accidents in Badakhshan province alone have resulted in 121 casualties, both dead and injured, in the first three months of the current solar year. It is reported that 45 traffic accidents, including those in Faizabad, occurred in various parts of Badakhshan during the first quarter of this year.

The Taliban media office in Badakhshan announced that these accidents resulted in 46 deaths and 75 injuries.
