RASC News Agency: Local sources in Panjshir province report that Taliban intelligence forces have detained seven individuals on charges of collaborating with the National Resistance Front. On Sunday, June 24, sources informed the media that seven residents from the villages of Kuhna Deh, Sang-e Lakshan, and Ghumanda in the Shutul district of Panjshir province were detained by the Taliban.
Local sources have denied any connection between these individuals and the National Resistance Front, stating that they were civilians engaged in farming and shopkeeping. Taliban authorities in Panjshir have yet to comment on the matter. It is important to note that this is not the first instance of such arrests by the Taliban.
A few days prior, Taliban intelligence forces also arrested four residents from the villages of Qala and Sar-Kamar in the Parian district of Panjshir province, transferring them to Dashtak, where they were imprisoned at the local brigade’s headquarters.
The National Resistance Front, led by Ahmad Massoud, is one of the prominent groups opposing the Taliban. It frequently reports attacks and inflicts casualties on Taliban members in various provinces across the country.
