RASC News Agency: Local authorities in Farah province report that a conflict between members of two families resulted in three fatalities and two injuries. Mawlawi Mohammad Yasin Abu Dujana, from the Parchaman district, stated that the incident occurred in the village of Beshnak, claiming the lives of a man, a woman, and an eight-month-old child.

Provincial officials added that the perpetrators have fled to Helmand province, and efforts to apprehend them are ongoing. Meanwhile, local sources suggest that this incident stemmed from a longstanding feud. The culprits have gone into hiding in Helmand, and their whereabouts remain unknown. It is noteworthy that similar incidents have occurred in Parwan and Takhar provinces. Two weeks ago, it was reported that an individual was killed in these provinces due to personal and family disputes, and the perpetrator disappeared afterward.

Family feuds and personal vendettas have long been common in Afghanistan, claiming many lives. Four weeks ago, it was reported from Panjshir province that a man killed his neighbor during the night. The assailant remains at large, with no information about his identity or location.

Residents assert that there is scarcely a village in Afghanistan that has not witnessed a murder. These killings result from family, personal, and honor-related disputes, with a high frequency of such incidents. Currently, reports of individuals being killed over feuds are received weekly.
