RASC News Agency: The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan has claimed responsibility for a recent assault on a Taliban compound in Kabul. According to a statement released on the National Resistance Front’s Facebook page, the attack occurred on the night of June 15 at a Taliban compound near the customs office in the city’s ninth security district. The statement reported that two Taliban members were killed and two others were injured in the assault.

The Taliban have not yet commented on this incident. It is noteworthy that the National Resistance Front has previously reported similar attacks on Taliban members in various provinces. In one instance a few days ago, this opposition group claimed to have killed two Taliban members in the Fazelbek area of Kabul’s fifth security district during an operation.

According to the National Resistance Front, one other Taliban member was injured in this attack. The group added that no harm came to its forces or civilians. Since the Taliban took control of the country, resistance groups such as the National Resistance Front and the Freedom Front have periodically reported conducting attacks and inflicting casualties on Taliban members across various provinces.
