RASC News Agency: Local Taliban authorities in Sar-e Pol province have announced that the collapse of a house in the province resulted in eight deaths and injuries. The Taliban police command in Sar-e Pol issued a statement reporting that the incident occurred on April 28 in the village of Deh Miana in the district of Al-Fath.

According to the statement, heavy rainfall led to the collapse of a house, resulting in the death of one woman and injuries to seven other family members. Recent flooding and heavy rainfall in various provinces across the country have caused significant financial damage and loss of life.

Previously, the Taliban Ministry of Natural Disaster Management announced that the recent rains and floods have caused the deaths of nearly 100 people, including women and children. In 2023, Afghanistan under Taliban rule was ranked as the fourth most vulnerable country globally to natural disasters.
