RASC News Agency: Ahmad Massoud, the leader of the National Resistance Front, articulated in his latest remarks that with each passing day, our unity grows stronger while the lifespan of the Taliban dwindles. Massoud made these statements on Saturday, April 13th, during a virtual session held to commemorate the first anniversary of the killing of Akamal Amiri and six of his comrades.

During this session, he reiterated the commitment to unity among fronts, political parties, and the people, adding that “since the beginning of this year, significant efforts have been made for cohesion and unity.” Ahmad Massoud emphasized that victory over the Taliban is attainable without external assistance, relying solely on the unity of the people.

The leader of the National Resistance Front stated that over the past three years, any form of interaction with the Taliban has been perceived as further oppression on the people of Afghanistan. He declared that despite efforts over the past nearly three years to reach a political solution, the Taliban have ignored these efforts.

Mr. Massoud previously stated during the virtual ceremony commemorating Akamal Amiri’s anniversary that despite the Taliban’s efforts to sow discord, the unity of freedom fronts and resistance has increased. The leader of the National Resistance Front added on Saturday, April 13th, that these two fronts will continue their struggles united and stronger than ever before.
