RASC News Agency: According to local sources from Laghman province, unidentified armed individuals have killed a member of the Taliban intelligence directorate in the province. Sources informed the media on Saturday, March 30th, that the Taliban intelligence member was fatally shot last Thursday night in the “Chaharbagh” area of the Qarghayi district in Laghman province.

According to the sources, the targeted individual, identified as Fazlurabi, was attacked while on his way home. The Taliban member, aged 35, was a resident of Qarghayi district in Laghman province. The Taliban has yet to issue a statement on the matter.

While no group has claimed responsibility for the incident, opposition military factions against the Taliban are active in the province. In a similar incident on December 19th, last year, the Afghanistan Liberation Front claimed responsibility for killing one Taliban member in Laghman and injuring four others.
