RASC News Agency: Local sources from Kabul Province have reported that the Taliban recently detained a former soldier in the city. Sources have informed the media that this former soldier was detained this morning, Sunday, Mar 24, from the Aladdin Square area, part of the third security district of Kabul city, and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to sources, this former soldier is named Ahmad Fareed, a resident of the Dara district in Panjshir Province, and he lived in Kabul city. Sources add that Ahmad Fareed was a member of the security forces in the previous government and engaged in shopkeeping after the Taliban’s takeover.

The detention, imprisonment, torture, and in some cases killing of former soldiers in various provinces of the country, as well as the detention of residents of Panjshir Province, are not new matters. In the latest incident, the Taliban also detained two residents of Panjshir Province from the center of this province last week, and they have not been held accountable to any institution or organization for their actions.
