RASC News Agency: The representative of the Farrokhzadian Association for Persian-Speaking Aid participated in the grand Nowruz celebration in Tajikistan, known as the “Writers’ Occurrence of Tajikistan,” as a special guest speaker, inaugurating the event with a discourse on the prestigious “Qand-e Parsi” global award.

He also addressed the distinguished audience about this year’s recipients of the “Qand-e Parsi” award, announced during the ninth London Grand (February 2024), which included writers, intellectuals, and notably Tajikistan’s first female general.

Mr. Karim Karim, the association’s secretary, concluded his speech by presenting this year’s “Qand-e Parsi” award to the recipient, Ms. Golrokh Saraf, a renowned Persian-language writer honored with the title of “Mother of the Nation” in Tajikistan, accompanied by sustained applause and the offering of flowers.

Ms. Golrokh Saraf expressed gratitude to the Farrokhzadian Association for Persian-Speaking Aid and acknowledged its remarkable activities transcending borders. The celebration continued with recitations of poetry by writers and poetry enthusiasts from Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Iran, live musical performances, traditional dances, and joyful Nowruz festivities.
