RASC News Agency: Local sources have informed the media that devastating floods have ravaged this province in the wake of heavy rainfall, resulting in significant financial losses for the local population. Local sources have confirmed to the media that due to these floods, an elderly man has lost his life, and more than 100 homes have been destroyed.

Sources have further disclosed that the heavy rainfall on Wednesday, Mar 20, in the Darahboom district of Qala-e-Naw city has also resulted in the destruction of over a thousand acres of agricultural land.

It is worth noting that previously in Badghis province, incidents involving the loss of lives of women and young people have been reported, such as a pregnant woman who succumbed to lightning in the Qades district of this province, leaving her daughter injured.

Notably, the Taliban group has refrained from commenting on this matter thus far; nevertheless, they have issued warnings about the ongoing risk of floods and rainfall in 15 provinces across the country.
