RASC News Agency: Ehsan Heidari, addressing journalists during Mental Health Week, declared, “The process of gathering unauthorized individuals persists as part of our operational agenda, with those apprehended in public areas of Tehran Province being relocated to a care center for further procedures.”

Through the implementation of the operation aimed at collecting and repatriating unauthorized individuals from public spaces in Tehran Province, in cooperation with the General Administration for Foreign Nationals and Immigrants of Tehran Province and the Immigration and Passport Security Police (FATA), unauthorized migrants have been rounded up.

The Acting Director-General of Tehran Province’s Department of Foreign Nationals and Immigrants, reflecting on the operation’s execution, remarked, “In compliance with decisions from the Tehran Eviction Base and resolutions of the Provisioning Council, unauthorized individuals apprehended have been transferred to Tehran Province’s care center to expedite their repatriation.”

Heidari concluded, “The effort to gather unauthorized individuals will persist not only in Tehran Province but also in recreational areas until the conclusion of the Nowruz holidays.” Reports suggest that similar law enforcement initiatives are ongoing in other Iranian cities.
