RASC News Agency: Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior has announced the initiation of the second phase for expelling Afghanistani migrants from the country, and according to reports, holders of the “Afghanistan Citizen Card” (ACC) are also among those slated for expulsion.

Pakistan’s International News reported that the country’s Interior Minister declared during an online session with provincial authorities of Punjab on Sunday, March 17th, that the second phase of the operation to expel Afghanistani migrants would commence on April 15.

According to this report, the Pakistani government will furnish a list of ACC holders to provincial authorities in Punjab, which will then be disseminated to the police and other law enforcement agencies. During this phase, ACC holders are urged to voluntarily return to Afghanistan; otherwise, they risk detention and subsequent expulsion.

As reported, following the completion of the second phase for expelling foreign nationals, holders of Proof of Registration (PoR) cards will also be subject to expulsion. It is noteworthy that the process of expelling undocumented migrants from Pakistan commenced on November 1, and since then, over 500,000 Afghanistani migrants have been expelled and repatriated to Afghanistan.
