RASC News Agency: Local Taliban authorities in Badghis province reported the killing of a man in the province by unknown gunmen. According to a statement released on Wednesday, April 24, by the press office of the Taliban police command in Badghis, a man was killed in the “Gholghi” area, located between Qadis district and Dar-e Bum in the province.

Sources confirmed that the victim was around 25 years old and lived in Qadis district in Badghis province. The Taliban stated that the perpetrators managed to flee the area after killing the young man. However, the Taliban have not provided further details regarding the circumstances of the incident or the victim’s identity.

Recently, the frequency of criminal incidents, particularly mysterious and targeted killings, has increased in the western provinces of the country, especially in Badghis and Farah. In a previous incident, the body of a man was found in a water well in Bala Murghab district in Badghis province, and in the past month, at least four people have been killed by unknown gunmen in Farah province.
