RASC News Agency: Sources from credible members of the Taliban group state that they intend to allocate seven million Kabuli rupees from their official budget to assist the madrasa in Pakistan. According to information disclosed by sources to the media, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the deputy head of the Taliban’s cabinet, raised this matter during a meeting with Hamed Al-Haqq, the official of the madrasa.
Hamed Al-Haqq, accompanied by a group of Pakistani clerics, traveled to Kabul on Monday, Feb 26, where they held meetings with Mawlawi Abdul Kabir. According to sources, during this meeting, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir pledged to Hamed Al-Haqq that the Taliban would provide financial assistance to the madrasa.
Sources reveal that Mawlawi Abdul Kabir’s office instructed the Taliban’s finance department to coordinate with the Ministry of Finance to deposit seven million Kabuli rupees into the account of the madrasa at the Kabul branch of the National Bank of Pakistan.
According to the sources, “This money should be delivered to the National Bank of Pakistan within a week, and assurances should be provided to Mawlawi Abdul Kabir’s office regarding it.” This comes as the Taliban have shown considerable attention to education in religious schools.
