RASC News Agency: Continuing the imposition of numerous restrictions on the citizens, the Taliban group in Badakhshan province apprehended 12 youths for listening to music and forcibly shaved their heads. Sources informed the media on Thursday, Feb 22, that the Taliban’s morality police detained these youths from the village of Targani, Argoy district of Badakhshan province.

Meanwhile, sources revealed that the Taliban detained the youths for playing music at a wedding celebration and released them on bail four days later. Furthermore, sources added that during the youths’ arrest, the Taliban severely beat them in public and later took them away, imprisoning them.

This occurs as the Taliban, throughout their two-year rule in Afghanistan, have enforced numerous restrictions on citizens, particularly youths, consistently urging them to refrain from broadcasting and disseminating music.
