RASC News Agency: Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban spokesperson, has recently declared that the Doha meeting is inconclusive without the presence of the Taliban group. Mujahid stated on Monday, February 19th, that Afghanistan is not currently in a state of war or crisis, hence, there is no necessity to appoint a special representative of the United Nations for Afghanistan affairs.

However, Zabihullah Mujahid attributed the Taliban’s non-participation in the Doha meeting to the United Nations’ rejection of the group’s demands. The Doha meeting, focusing on Afghanistan and initiated by the United Nations, took place over the past two days with the attendance of at least 28 countries worldwide.

It is noteworthy that although the Taliban were invited to the meeting, the group’s Foreign Ministry refrained from participation due to the rejection of its conditions by the United Nations.
