RASC News Agency: Sources from Kabul province report that the Taliban group has recently detained a merchant from the vicinity of this province as part of its arbitrary arrests. Sources informed the media on Monday, Feb 19, that Taliban intelligence forces apprehended Abdul Khaybar, also known as Zmaray Walizadah, on Saturday morning of the current week from the jurisdiction of the fourth district of Kabul city and took him into custody.

According to the sources, the Taliban group has transferred Abdul Khaybar to the leadership of their 90th intelligence unit. However, the precise reason for his detention by the Taliban group has not yet been clarified. This comes as the Taliban group, following its takeover of the country, has repeatedly detained, tortured, and in some cases, killed citizens of the country in various provinces on various pretexts.

In a previous incident, the son of a merchant in the Qarghan district of Faryab province was first detained due to non-payment of extortion to the Taliban intelligence chief and then lost his life under the torture of this Taliban official.
